Classroom News
As our year winds down, we want to thank all of our families for all that you have been doing this year to support your child's learning. We are so grateful for the amazing community at Duffin's Bay.
Our last two weeks are simple. We have an activity a day. We have made it printable so that you can print it out, put it on your fridge. We thought that at this point we could all probably use a decrease in screen time. We will continue to have our Google Meets. Please check the schedule for days/times.
Thank you again for such a great year or for some two years. We have really enjoyed working with you.
Sincerely,
Ms. Tsumura
Mrs. Duchesne

Preparing for Online Meetings
* set up the camera in a quiet area away from household traffic
* make sure your child knows where to sit so that they are in view of the camera
* if possible allow your child some space to move around if they need to (we may do some stretch breaks/movement activities)
* find a space nearby enough so that you can help if your child needs it but also far enough away that they feel like they can take on their "school" role.
* join the class 5 minutes early to get set up online and test out sound/video
* make sure audio and video are on
* you can send me a message in the chat on Zoom if you have any issues/questions that are important during set-up
